- Detroit Fire Department active duty certificate, engraved by Capewell and Kimmel, and issued to G.W. Hallam on June 1, 1861. The document bears the signatures of President Benjamin Vernor, and Secretary Henry Starkey, beside a yellow embossed Fire Department of the City of Detroit seal. Illustrations of uniformed firefighters, an early fire apparatus and firefighting equipment, the seal of the State of Michigan, and Neptune flanked by two winged monsters are bordered by scrollwork. The certificate is mounted on linen.

- Color postcard Packard Motor Car Company, Detroit Mich. This vertical image shows an aerial view of the Packard factory. Verso: "Packard Motor Car Company Detroit, Mich, The Packard Motor Car Company is located on the East Grand Boulevard and the Belt Line Railway. The factory occupies forty acres of floor space including thirty separate buildings, and employs over 7,000 people. Daily output is ten complete pleasure cars and five two, three or five-ton commercial trucks. The power house is equipped to supply 8500 horse power, including two 3000 horse power Cooper engines." The drawing consists of black pencil on vellum paper and includes colored pencil shading to highlight the various parts. The drawing is dated and signed "6-20-16, JSB [James Scripps Booth]" near the center of the sheet. Handwritten pencil text on the right shows "Suggested Scripps Booth 1917, 4 cyl. See also side elevation in shaded pencil."
