- Vandecar, Inc. was located at 1528 Lake Drive SE in the Eastown neighborhood, Grand Rapids. The dealership sold Dodge and Plymouth motor cars and Dodge trucks when it opened in 1938. By 1940 the International Harvester Co. operated a truck sales room in the building. The building currently houses a CVS drug store.

- The Bomber Bar was located 209 Monroe Avenue in downtown Grand Rapids. It was a fad during and shortly after WWII to have business names related to the war or to America's patriotic fever. This interior view shows the dining tables and booths.
