- Photo of Dorothy Leonard Judd (Mrs. Siegel W. Judd) holding a booklet that she edited entitled "Our City Government." Judd, a graduate of Vassar College, became active in the League of Women Voters in the 1920 and 1930s. She later turned her concern to cleaning up local government in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She also worked for the development of Civil Service and higher education. Photo was taken for the Grand Rapids Herald on March 5, 1948 and ran in the Herald the next day.
