- Dress of wine-colored velvet with intertwining serpentine cut-out design over wine net; gold/navy blue lame shows through cut-outs. Serpentine figuring is smaller at bustline and larger at hem. Heart-shaped bodice with spaghetti straps and raised waistline. Clothing label on dress: Jean Patou/PARIS. Clothing label on gold underdress: BERGDORF-GOODMAN/FIFTH AVENUE AT 58TH STREET. Handwritten on tag sewn on back of label: Mrs. H. Fireston/10-16-40/64211. This garment was owned by Mrs. Harvey Firestone of Detroit, Michigan.The velvet portion of this dress was made by Jean Patou and the gold lame cloth that shows through the cut-outs is from Bergdorf-Goodman. This is very unusual - perhaps it was put together by Mrs. Firestone.

- Navy blue silk organza evening dress. Scooped neckline trimmed with ivory lace leaf and rose appliques repeated in falling pattern along left front side and in embroidered vine encircling lower skirt. Very full circular skirt has two layers of organza over of layer of net. Skirt seams have been let out at waist. Dress would be worn over chemise. Clothing label: Salon Moderne/SAKS FIFTH AVENUE. Stamped on label: 804. Handwritten on label: Mrs. H. Firestone/June 30, 1949.

- Short evening dress with shawl. Cream organza over satin. Stylized pink thistles with greens stems embroidered down front in silk floss, gold sequins and gold metal. Fitted strapless bodice with two vertical bows on either side of center front waistline. Half-belt in back at the waistline. Corselet in bodice. Stiff nylon underskirt with two layers of nylon tulle. Double organza rectangular shawl with stylized carnation embroidered on center back. This garment was owned by Mrs. Harvey Firestone of Detroit, Michigan.This dress isn't labeled, but was probably designed by Bob Bugnand. Mrs. Firestone referred to it as Bob's carnation dress, although the motif is actually a thistle. The dress was taken to Europe a few times in the late 1950's.

Chiffon skirt made of two panels that cross-over on either side, each with an inset with same pleated lace as collar. Bow on left hip. Attached silk crepe slip edged with same chiffon as dress. Clothing label: Peggy Hoyt/16 EAST 55TH ST. NEW YORK. Handwritten on back of label: Russell Firestone/No. 2327/6-17-29/REPETTI. Russell Firestone was Harvey S. Firestone's brother and Mrs. Firestone's brother-in-law.This garment was owned by Mrs. Harvey Firestone of Detroit, Michigan.

- Sleeveless red satin dress. Wide scooped neckline decorated with gathered leaf-shaped pieces to form petal effect; similar piece pinned below waist. Seam at waistline; self-fabric contour belt. Full bias-cut skirt with box-pleat trim on inside of hem. Bodice boned, but dress unlined. Clothing label: Salon Moderne/SAKS FIFTH AVENUE. Handwritten on label: Mrs. Firestone/11-28-47/402. This dress was probably made for winter 1947 Christmas or holiday parties.

- Black silk velvet dress trimmed with ecru machine lace. Lace forms pattern around V-neckline and down left side of the dress. Bodice tucked around hips and neckline. Long sleeves have 4-button closure at wrist. Attached belt has large yellow metal buckle that matches buttons on sleeves. Clothing label: Stein & Blaine/New York. Additional label sewn to back of main label: Stein & Blaine/13 AND 15 WEST 57TH STREET/NEW YORK. Typed on back of additional label: Mrs. Harvey Firestone/Date August 22, 1927/No. 82405/Dept. Bergman.

- Black silk velvet hostess dress with neckline, hem and half of sleeves edged in beige machine lace. Short, semicircular demi-train. This dress is not labeled, but is believed to be a Stein & Blaine based on another black velvet hostess dress of a similar style that is owned The Henry Ford and has a Stein & Blaine label.

- Dress of turquoise silk georgette over aqua crepe-backed satin. Aqua lace embroidered with gold thread at hem and neckline. Large rhinestone applied bows on left side. Dropped waistline and a slightly uneven hem with longer panels on left side. Clothing label: Peggy Hoyt/16 East 55th St/New York/Henry Firestone/No 6388/Date 5-9-28. This dress is notable for its gorgeous styling, dramatic color, dipping hemline - which would be quite showy on the dance floor - and fabulous matching shoes with heels studded with brilliants. The American designer, Peggy Hoyt, billed herself as Dressmaker to the Aristocracy.

- Horizontally striped taffeta dress in green, blue, pale blue, and pink. Taffeta covered in navy blue machine lace in floral design. Strips of lavender, blue, and pink taffeta applied to lace in front; two vertical, three horizontal. Long rectangular lace shawl with same taffeta strips at either end and two strips placed on diagonal. Strapless bodice boned and slightly elongated at waist.Clothing label: ORIGINAL/CARRIE MUNN/NEW YORK. This garment was owned by Elizabeth Parke Firestone, daughter of Mr. Harvey Firestone of Detroit, Michigan.Elizabeth Parke Firestone wore this dress to the rehearsal dinner for the wedding of her daughter Martha Firestone Ford to Mr. William Clay Ford in June, 1947. The style is typical of Carrie Munn's work.
