Handwritten one-cent postcard from New York to Theodore H. Eaton & Son of Detroit, Michigan, dated October 31, 1876. The postcard is slightly yellowed. Handwritten text on the verso shows "N.Y., Oct. 31, 1876; Gent., In reply to your p.c. [postcard] of 20th inst. Mr. John B. Wade [?] Barclay [?] is the selling agent for Mr. Poirrier goods. They refer you to him. C. [?] P. Field [?]."
