Printed on verso: Wayne Hotel, Detroit, Mich. Looking East on Jefferson, showing The Wayne Hotel is one of the favorite hotels in the city. Located on Jefferson Avenue, Cor. 3rd, directly across from the Michigan Central Depot. It is on the River Bank and from its windows a fine view of the river traffic is possible in the season. In the summer time, a pavilion, built out to the water's edge, adds to the attractions of the hostelry, which has been for the past twenty years, under the management of J. R. Hayes.
