- Rochester Municipal Park, formerly Avon Park, located between Ludlow Avenue, Woodward Avenue, North Main Street, and West Fifth Street (University). - The Rochester Light & Power Company was incorporated in 1899 and operated until it was absorbed by Detroit Edison in 1909. That same year, Edison constructed this building on the southeast corner of South Main Street and Third Street to operate their business.
