- Smoke from a fire above trees and homes. The 1898 Lansing City Directory lists a carpenter, Seneca R. Curry, living at 722 West Ionia Street, almost exactly one block south of the Lawrence home. Note on sleeve: "No. 49. Aug. 4, 1898. 4:30 pm. Snap shot. Opr. Al."
