- This collection contains photographs related to the interurban rail line between Lansing and St. Johns that was contracted April 23, 1900, and had its last run May 18, 1929. It began as the Lansing, St. Johns & St. Louis Railway company and changed hands (and names) several times before ending service. The photographs were collected by Michael Reed for a display at a youth talent show. Most of the photographs are prints made from glass negatives that were taken by Emery Hamilton, who worked on the line. They are not dated and some of the location information may not be accurate.

- An interurban train car north of Lansing. The view is to the north at the County Farm Sub-Station siding along Taft Road. The sign on the front of the car reads "Lansing - Local - St. Johns."

- Two interurban cars on a bridge approach over the Pere Marquette Railroad. The car at back is no. 406, and the view is to the south.

- Interurban passenger car no. 208, connected to a freight car full of beets. Pere Marquette Railroad cars were used to haul the beets from St. Johns to the Lansing sugar beet factory. Cars were interchanged to the Pere Marquette at North Lansing.
