G Mennin "Soapy" Williams' plan to increase corporate taxes in combination with a smaller increase in the gas tax to fund road improvement.

One shows a road in southern England from London to Aberistwith [Aberistwyth], Wales, via Uxbridge, Oxford, Worcester, and Prestain [Presteigne], through Middlesex, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire, Worcestershire, and Herefordshire in England, and Radnorshire and Cardiganshire in Wales. The first map also shows an alternate road "To Worcester thro' Campden commencing at the Four Shire Stones". The other map shows a road from Bristol to Bath and a road from Bristol to Exeter via Taunton, through Somersetshire and Devonshire.
