- One blueprint drawing entitled "Plans for Engineer Dock at Fort Wayne." The drawing shows the layout of the dock area along with dimensions and water depths. The locations of four survey vessels are also indicated along with their names: Lorain L., U.S.S. Gen. Williams, U.S.S. Search, and U.S. Lake Survey No. 1. On the right side of the plan sheet, a cross-section detail of the dock sheet piling and anchorage configuration is shown. The title block in the upper left corner indicates that the drawing was prepared "under the direction of Major W. L. Fisk, Corps of Engineers, and E. E. Haskell, Chief Asst. Engineer" at a scale of 1 inch = 20 feet. The plan is dated August, 1902.

L. Fisk, Corps of Engineers, U.S.A., and E. E. Haskell, Prin. Asst. Engineer, by Murray Blanchard, Junior Engineer." The plan is drawn in black ink on linen and is dated April, 1904. The drawing was prepared at full scale and shows plan, profile, and cross-section views for the design of a protractor which was used for drawing lake survey charts. Additional notes at the bottom of the title block give the following specifications: "Make bar of steel, graduated arcs of German silver, and other parts of brass. Protractor arms to be nickel plated. Graduate protractors to 1/2 degree and verniers to 1 minute."

- One "Map of U.S. Lake Survey Basin at Fort Wayne." The map consists of black ink on linen and shows the dock and frontage along the Detroit River that were occupied by the U. S. Lake Survey Office at Fort Wayne. A seawall is also shown at the upstream side of the basin. Water depths are indicated in the vicinity of the basin to the nearest tenth of a foot and are referenced "to a plane 5 feet below the capping." The names, "Wm. J. Marshall," and "Drouillard's Boathouse" are shown on the adjacent "Crane Estate" property that is located immediately northeast of the fort property. The title block on the left side of the sheet indicates that the map was "Made under the direction of Major W. L. Fisk, Corps of Engineers, and E. E. Haskell, Chief Asst., Engineer," and is dated June, 1903. A note in the lower right corner shows that the map was drawn at a scale of 1 inch = 20 feet.

Lydecker, Corps of Engineers, U.S.A., in charge" and that the drawing (Plate I) was "To accompany report of Asst. Eng. E. E. Haskell." The plan is drawn in black ink on linen and is dated July 1, 1898. The drawing shows plan, elevation, and cross-section views of an apparatus that was used to compare measuring instruments against a standard 8 meter bar. The name, "A. Mangelsdorf," is shown in the lower right corner of the sheet.
