- A neon Norge sign hangs from the H. F. Cole Inc. storefront at 56 North Division Ave. Displayed in the windows are an electric refrigerator and a wringer washing machine. A large advertisement uses Ripley, in Believe It or Not, to extol the Rollator made by Borg-Warner Co. of Detroit, which comes with a ten-year guarantee.

- Exhibit for the General Electric Supply Corp. with the Grand Rapids location at 41-43 Market Ave. SW. The display shows GE's kitchen appliances, including two stoves (different sizes), a refrigerator, plus a washer and a dryer. Front and center stands the insides of a dishwasher for viewing. The visitor could also view the motor and (see-through) agitator of the washing machine.

- The Wurzburg Department Store exhibit at the annual Home Show features the GE products they carried: three refrigerators, one with a separate freezer door; a stove; the insides of a dishwasher so one could see how it works; a clothes washer with the motor on display with a see-through agitator on top, so one could see how it works; a mangle iron press; three televisions, one a table top, another a small console, and the third in a larger console along with a radio and record player. A sign announces that "Television is coming to Grand Rapids in 1949. WLAV will bring Grand Rapids the world's greatest features including drama, comedy, sports, variety, and news from the nation's talent capitols." In the view is an exhibit next it of Chic's Paints & Supplies at 1956 S. Division, featuring "Berryflat" paint, "improved oil-based flat finish."

The window displays a Norge stove, refrigerator with the motor on display, wringer washer, and mangle. A large sign advertises "Norge Rollator Refrigeration." A cardboard cutout of a cartoon band major marching with the words, "Norge leads in perfomance."
