- A collection of scrapbooks from J.H. Moores. Contains a scrapbook of advertisements and newspaper clippings related to J.H. Moores various business ventures, including fruit and vegetable marketing, real estate, and lumber. Also contains newspaper clippings regarding the death of the Moores' daughter, Josephine Moores West in 1900. One scrapbook contains newspaper clippings, letters to J.H. Moores about a testimonial banquet at the Masonic Temple in 1910 by the Lansing Business Men's Association. Also includes newspaper clippings on L.H. Field, William McPherson Jr., and W.K. Prudden as well as Lansing State Savings Bank advertisements. J.H. Moores served as President of Lansing's Business Men's Organization in 1913.

- A scrapbook created by women in Haslett, Michigan who were part of the Blue Star Mothers organization for mothers of soldiers sent to active duty in World War II. According to donor information, each family had a scrapbook containing copies of all the same information. This was the personal copy of Clella M. Weissinger Dickinson. The contents of the scrapbook are: Information on the formation of the Blue Star Mothers association Hand-written biographies of those from Haslett serving in the armed forces Portraits of those serving Clippings about the war and letters from soldiers printed in the newspaper Transcribed copies of letters from soldiers Clippings about the Blue Star Mothers activities Gold stars are affixed to biographies of those who were killed in service. Due to the fragility of this scrapbook, the contents have not been digitized. Contact the library for more information.

- Blue Star Mothers of Haslett Scrapbook
- Description:
- This collection contains a scrapbook of newspaper clippings. The book is inscribed, "Mrs. F.S. Lawrence, Aug. 6, 1890, Lansing, Mich." The clippings are pasted over text of a book identified as "Specimens, Chicago Type Foundry" on cover. The clippings include death notices, anecdotes, and miscellaneous articles on people and events. Fred S. Lawrence was born March 21, 1857, married on October 8, 1879, and died on October 22, 1944. S. Jeanette Bender (Lawrence) was born June 13, 1858 and died December 31, 1944. Both are buried in Lansing's Evergreen Cemetery. Fred helped orgranize Larewnce and Van Buren Printing Co. around 1879 and was a manager of the State Republican for 9 years prior. The Lawrence's lived at 412 W. Ottawa Street in 1929.

- A collection of personal papers, printed materials, photographs, portraits, newspapers, and historical materials from Russell Sheathelm. Sheathelm served as a Fire Department Commissioner for 20 years as well as a teacher and coach. The collection also contains some research and information about Lansing School Athletics and other Lansing School programs and materials. Russell also served as president of the Lansing Teacher's Credit Union and as a member of the Michigan State Alumni Association and so the collection contains magazines and other materials from Michigan State University as well.
