On the opposite side of South Washington Avenue, Woolworth's at Allegan Street and Knapps at Washtenaw Street are in good focus. Several blocks of South Washington Avenue fill the rest of the image. Highlights include Small's Mens Shop at 211, the Foo Ying Cafe on the upper level at 207 1/2 - 209 1/2, Daniel's Jewelry Co. at 205 and Bosch jewelers at 201. In the next block, the 100 block, the American Bank & Trust building is prominent. City Planning Division staff annotated and trimmed the photo.
