- Description:
- Woman's one piece dress in white silk and chiffon. The silk forms the body of the dress, and the chiffon is used for the collar, under-waist, and sleeves. The bodice, cummerbund, belt, cuffs, and skirt are embroidered with white silk floss, in a pattern of roses and butterflys. The bodice has a V-neck, and square collar, and the skirt has a peg top. Made by Detroit dressmaker Bertha Krenz.

- A pair of woman's white satin pumps with a pointed toe, and curved heel. Pointed toes. The instep is decorated with white satin, clear glass beads, and five rhinestones. Label: Kline's, St. Louis, Kansas City, Detroit, Cincinnati.

- Description:
- This is a woman's pantsuit evening ensemble. The cardigan jacket and shell are completely covered in sequins and beads to suggest the cables of traditonal knit tennis wear. The V-neck cardigan has a 1.25" wide decorative band of blue thread, green sequins, and red and white beads that extends around the neck and down the center front. The long sleeves have bead covered cuffs. The jacket has five gold buttons for its center front closure. It has a 2.75" wide beaded band at the hem, shoulder pads, and is completely lined in ecru silk. The jacket has a Bill Blass label. The collarless shell has the same colors and materials as jacket. It has a multicolored band around its neck. Its center back has an invisible zipper, and also has a beaded band around the armholes and the bottom hem. It is completely lined in ecru silk, and labeled Bill Blass. The slacks are white wool with two center front pleats, and straight legs with 1.5" cuff. The side opening has an invisible zipper, and hook-and-eye closures. The slacks have a white silk lining, and two loops for hanging. The slacks have a label that reads: Bill Blass; made in USA of Imported Fabric. This "tennis ensemble" is from the 1980 Bill Blass collection.
