- Hugh Hart, known as “Uncle Jerry” entertaining the kiddies over Wash. Taken when the studio was in Baxter’s Laundry. December 19, 1929. The subject is a dark-haired, smiling man of about 40 years seated at a table on which stands a large microphone that resembles the old-fashioned rotary dial of a telephone. The man is wearing a checkered suit jacket with matching vest, white shirt, and a striped necktie. There are some control knobs inset into the table near his right elbow, which is leaning on the table. In his left hand he holds some papers.
