He is standing in front of a veterans’ monument at Veteran's Park with three tote bags for publications crisscrossing his body and hanging from his shoulders. One of the bags is labeled “Woman’s Home Companion.” He holds a chain in his right hand, attached to the dog’s collar, which is sitting to his right. He holds a stick and and a magazine in his left hand. A wreath has been placed at the monument and there are several cars parked in the background.
