- Photograph of view of North Washington, 200 block, Lansing. There are horses and carts in the brick-paved street. S. H. Knox & Co. sign can be seen in the 100 block, at left. At the corner of Ottawa and Washington, the unfinished Methodist church that became the H. L. Willson harness and buggy shop is visible. At right are the Stahl hardware block and the Usa H. Forester block at the far edge.

- Located on northeast corner of Washington Avenue North and Ottawa Street East. The Senate Grill is on the corner at 200, perhaps out of business at the time of the photo. The entry to Rich's Bar is seen, it was upstairs at #200 1/2. The PX Mart selling general merchandise was at 202 North Washington Avenue. Upstairs in Room 16 of the Dodge building was the F. J. Pliska Music Shop. City Planning Division staff annotated the photo and trimmed it.
