The Olds Hotel is beyond the Michigan National Bank Tower; north of it is the Lansing City Hall. Other buildings can be seen further to the north.

View, looking in a southwesterly direction, includes part of downtown, extends to Oldsmobile factories to the south, beyond Logan Street (Martin Luther King Boulevard) to the west, and Ionia Street to the north. A rubberstamp imprint "File Copy" partly obscures the Lewis Cass Building. On the reverse is the creator's file number 5125A and the date, December 26, 1969.
