Printed on verso: The Dime Bank Building is 23 stories high and is the best elevation from which to view the city and its surroundings. On a clear day from here can be seen Canada, Lake St. Clair, Belle Isle and beautiful Detroit, for a distance of five miles. It contains 1000 offices.

Printed on verso: Designed by Stanford White, the Main Office of Manufacturers National Bank stands on ground where, on July 11, 1796, was enacted the closing scene of the War of Independence - the evacuation of Fort Lernoult by British troops.

- Sepia-toned group portrait photograph of the six members of the board of the Guardian Group. The three men seated in the front are identified on the verso as, from left to right, Robert O. Lord, Ernest C. Kanzler, and Frederick T. Murphy. The man standing at the top center is also identified as John C. Grier, Jr. The other two men from the left in the upper row are unidentified. "MacGregor and Company, Commercial Photography, 4610 Woodward Ave. Detroit, Michigan," is stamped is on the verso.

- Color postcard depicting the Home Savings Bank on the corner Michigan Avenue and Griswold Street. Printed on verso: The Home Savings Bank Building - Corner of Michigan Avenue and Griswold street, was erected in 1893 and is eight stories high. The handsome offices of the bank occupy the entire lower floor, the rest of the building being devoted entirely to offices. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Dec 30, 1911.

- This tan paper envelope contained a 6-page letter that was written Michael W. O'Brien who was the President of the People's Savings Bank. The front of the envelope is addressed in handwritten text to "Hon. Wm. C. Maybury, Mayor, from M. W. O'Brien" and shows the subject of the letter, "Banking in Prospective in Detroit," in handwriting along the right edge of the envelope. The return address of the bank is printed in black text in the upper left corner of the envelope. The back flap is secured with three red wax seals that have been impressed with the seal of the bank.
