- A Farewell Banquet given in honor of Maj. T. M. Larsen, Divisional Commander for Western Michigan, Salvation Army, in the English Room at the Rowe Hotel. This large group of men and women, dressed in business attire or uniform, also included Brig. Ernest Pugmire. The guests are seated, some standing in the background, at three long cloth covered tables, set with dishes and cutlery, and ready for the meal. The room is wood paneled, three large chandeliers hang from the ceiling, the floor appears to be checkered linoleum, and on the back wall are several windows with drapes pulled to the sides.
