- John Stryker opened a store on Grandville Avenue in the late 1870s. Between 1883 and 1884, he moved to 278 Grandville Ave. SW, where he sold flour, feed and wood and lived upstairs. Today this is the area where Grandville becomes Ellsworth. Photo circa 1884.
