- This Night Stand, in the collection of The Henry Ford, is constructed of a cylindrical metal support frame from the drawer to the bottom shelf. A castano sequoia burl veneer covers the exterior surfaces and shelf while the inlay is harewood. The drawer is a two way and has cylindrical metal drawer pulls on either side. On the back are raised rounded edges.
This piece was designed for the 1933 Chicago World's Fair, "A Century of Progress," "Design For Living House. "

- This Night Stand, in the collection of The Henry Ford, is constructed of a walnut top, sides and base. It has one shelf that is open in the front and one drawer under the top with white padded vinyl rectangles on its front.
Inside the drawer is the label "Herman Miller Furniture Company" and on the back is the inscription '4140'.
