- Dr. Carol Quirke, Professor of History at SUNY-Old Westbury, delivers a talk entitled, "Bitter Kisses for Labor: Mass Consumer Capitalism and the Hershey Chocolate Sit-down Strike, 1937." Quirke talks about her book "Eyes on Labor" then discusses in depth the chapter on the 1937 Hershey's sit-down strike. She explains the evolution of visual images in national newspapers and then tracks the use of photography to present unions and strikes as violent and un-American. Quirke describes how Hershey management fought off the attempt at unionization. She answers questions from the audience. Quirke is introduced by Michigan State University Professor John P. Beck. - Elizabeth "Betty" Hulings Booker discusses her service in the U.S. Army Nurse Corps during World War Two. Booker, who served with the 19th Field Hospital in the Persian Gulf, recalls her childhood and education at Johns Hopkins School of Nursing prior to enlistment and then shipping out by way of the Mediterranean Sea to a field hospital in Iran. Iran, she says was part of the route used to ship much needed supplies to Russia for use on the Eastern Front. She also talks about the excitement of mail call, the twelve hour shifts she worked caring for injured American and foreign troops, her feelings about army pay and food and feeling threatened by the excessive amount of attention she received as a woman during a rest and recreation trip to the Holy Land and the Caspian Sea. After the war, Booker says that she married and raised a family, used the G.I. Bill to earn a Master Degree and later taught Nursing at the University of Pittsburgh. Booker is interviewed by Mary Meyers.

He recounts his electoral college victory in 2016 even while losing the popular vote. Rick Saccone encourages supporters to get out the vote for him.

- American International College Professor of History Gary Jones delivers a talk entitled, "'Russia in America, Cossacks in Pennsylvania': The Department of State Police and Early Twentieth Century Conflict in the Coalfields". Jones explains the creation of Department of State Police in Pennsylvania to supplement the Coal and Iron Police and to take over strike policing from the National Guard. Jones describes their training and tactics for dealing with strikes, crowds, and riots and the reaction of the unions to the brutality of the police. A question and answer session follows.
