- Black and white photograph mounted on cardboard. Photograph pictures General Robinson's Head Quarters at Fort Wayne in 1869. A row of 4 building units bordered by a white fence can be seen. On the left side of the image, three men in uniform can be seen standing along the outside of the fence. In the middle of the image, four men in uniform can be seen standing along the outside of the fence. To their right is a man in uniform walking with a child. Text underneath the image reads "Genl. Robinson's Head Quarters, For Wayne, Mich. 1869."

- Print, mounted on board. The print is of an engraving showing "Lake Coast Defences. Fort Wayne, Near Detroit, Michigan. - Sketched by A.H. Askins." Shows the east bastion of the star fort at Fort Wayne with a view to the northeast. Two officers are shown talking on the upper level of the fort with a troupe of soldiers marching below. The skylines of Detroit and Windsor can be seen in the distance. "Nov. 1, 61" is hand written in pencil on the bottom right corner.

- Description:
- Print containing three engravings, taken from the booklet, Souvenir of Detroit & Exposition, depicting locations in Detroit. At the top is the entrance to Fort Wayne, with a lone figure standing in the gate, and the roof of the barracks visible over the wall. The next panel down shows the officers' quarters of Fort Wayne. The housing along officers' row is at the left, the parade ground is on the right, and Gibbs Street runs along the center, where several figures are walking. In the next row down are two smaller images--the Centre Park Library, and Capitol High School. The bottom row again contains two images--the Thompson Home for Old Ladies on Cass Avenue, and the Home for the Friendless on Warren Avenue.
