- This Sofa, in the collection of the Dallas Historical Society, consists of an outside shell seat with back and armrest of tan tweed hopsack upholstery. The backrest interior and seat itself are padded and covered with Royal blue fabric. The back and armrest are finished with black rubber piping and have three cushions with zippers. - This Molded Plywood Chair, in the collection of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, is known as "American's most favorite modern chair," according to the 1954 Herman Miller Trade Catalog. It has a molded plywood seat and back with a rosewood veneer. The frame, legs and glides are all metal. - This Dining Table, in the collection of The Henry Ford, consists of a table with two leaf crates and two extensions. The top is constructed of acacia burl veneer with a single curved line carving and two extensions. The base contains four wood legs and an amorphic shaped platform base covered in leatherette with brass tack edging.
Under the table top is the product number, '4190', and on the table leaf crate is the words 'Herman Miller Furniture Company'.

This piece is the same version that was designed for the 1933 Chicago World's Fair and used in "Design for Living House".

The chair is padded and covered with dark ultramarine hopsak upholstery with gray vinyl edging and sits on birch rockers. According to the 1965 Herman Miller Trade Catalogue, the light weight rocker is ideal for reading, relaxing, and use by the young mother.
