A review of City Directories from 1952 through 1964 found no listing for a Peter's Grill and Dairy bar in this location. Instead, Peter's Food Market grocery appears in City Directories for several years. In the early 1960s, the Daylight Do-nut Shop is listed at 901 North Pennsylvania Street; That could be the storefront in the immediate foreground with "Fountain Service" sign in the window.
