- Cathy Baker, paper conservator, historian, and owner of the Legacy Press delivers a talk entitled, "Dard Hunter : arts-and-crafts designer, paper historian, and private-press printer extraordinaire". Baker talks about Hunter's life, his paper making, how he traveled the world to gather information and materials, and how he later published hand-printed books to disseminate the knowledge he had gained. She recounts Hunter's foray into furniture design before deciding that he could make an original and valuable contribution to the field of paper making. Baker answers questions from the audience. She is introduced by MSU Librarian Pat Ols0n.

- U.S. President Donald Trump, during a signing ceremony for an executive order promoting free speech and religious liberty, asserts that the order will insure religious freedom and prevent the Internal Revenue Service from taking tax exemptions away from religious organizations. Trump also talks about his upcoming visits to Saudi Arabia and Israel and his plans to talk with foreign leaders about ways to combat terrorism in the Middle East. - This collection is made up almost entirely of photographs, particularly Ralph Sweeney's personal albums of travel both with the United States military and on his own for leisure. Many of his relatives are represented in the photo collections as well. The majority of the collection was salvaged from the Sweeney family home at 316 North Butler Street in Lansing after it was sold and had been vacated in 1991; the remainder, a small group of Sweeney, Crissman, and other unidentified photographs, was part of the David Caterino estate gift to the Forest Parke Library & Archives.

- One photograph album from the early 20th century, created by a woman named Kittie F. Kent, who worked as a clerk at Olds in Lansing for a number of years. Themes in the album's photographs include trips to Niagara Falls and Washington, D. C. (1920), South Carolina or California; snapshots of friends and family; on campus at M. S. C.; at Pine Lake; many pictures of cats; snapshots of men in military dress; homes in the 700 block of West Willow Street; snapshots of mostly female coworkers from the Olds plant in the 1910s and 1920s. About half of the album's pages are blank, and some pages have loose photographs tucked between. Two representative images have been scanned. For further information please contact the libary.

- Grand Ledge Police Chief and former Lansing Police Captain Manuel David Burtch discusses his career and experiences in the Lansing Police Department in an interview with retired Lansing Police Officers James Gleason and John Assiff. Burtch describes in detail the police uniform and old police building and tells stories about his time as a motorcycle officer, including escorting President John F. Kennedy's motorcade during a Kennedy whistle stop in Lansing. He also talks about his transition to becoming chief of the Grand Ledge Police Department.
