In the second part of the interivew, Candace continues with stories of her father's career as Fire Chief and later Saugatuck Township Supervisor. Her interview also includes a detailed descrition of the 1968 Rock Festival held in Douglas, Michigan.

The postcard depicts a series of parked cars in the parking lot, and while the beach has a smattering of individuals, it is not as busy as the number of cars would suggest.
