- This two-piece knit dress has a tunic top and plain skirt. There are nine buttons on each side of the tunic as well as machine embroidery in shades of orange and tan. Label: "MADE IN FRANCE, Mae & Hattie Green, 587, Fifth Avenue. NEW-YORK."

- This woman's light grey silk cocktail or formal gown has a flesh-colored yoke that is heavily beaded with pearls, rhinestones, and crystal. It has short sleeves, and a jewel neckline. The natural waistline is also outlined with two rows of beadwork. The skirt is gored and extremely full. It has an 11" hem, and attached petticoats of tan crepe and silk faced bottom interlined with horsehair. Back zipper and covered buttons with loop fastenings where chiffon begins. Worn by donor. - Woman's chemise dress. Wool and angora knit. Turquoise. Just below knee length. Long, straight set-in sleeves. Multi colored horizontal stripes in wide band at hem, and at sleeves. Stand up collar with front button and snap placket closing. Dress fully lined. Dress 39" from neck to hem. Matching scarf wraps around neck, and stripes match hem stripes. Scarf 110" l. Worn by donor. Label: Mollie Parnis Boutique, New York. Note: almost identical dress (in white with colored stripes) shown in photo of Betty Ford dated 1973.

- This style was favored by Mrs. Firestone in the late 1920s and in to the 1930s. Edward Cohen was her preferredshoemaker during this time.Born in Decatur, Illinois in 1897 Elizabeth Parke married Harvey S. Firestone Jr., son of Firestone Tire and Rubber Company founder Harvey S. Firestone, in 1921.Once described by a friend as, "the most luxurious woman in the history of luxury," Elizabeth Parke Firestone's clothing collection illustrates her impeccable taste in fashion.

- This wool challis black, green, purple, red and white geometric print woman's dress has a plain round neck with no collar, long straight sleeves with cuffs and covered buttons. The front is plain and slightly gathered at the waist seam. The dress zips up the back. The dress is part of an ensemble which includes a black knit jumper. The jumper is a chemise with a mandarin collar and large black button at the shoulder. The skirt is slit to the waist. There is a narrow black leather belt. The jumper has a concealed zippered back. The breast pocket has a handkerchief which matches the challis black, green, purple, red and white geometric print of the dress. Label:"Pierre Cardin" (on the dress)

- Woman's silver leather sandals with closed toe and heel, and open sides. The shoes have a strap buckle across the top. The leather is ridged and gives the effect of gathers across top of the front. - This woman's light, buff wool twill suit has a navy blue silk velvet collar and buttons. The suit has a fitted jacket that is flared below the waist. It has two tails in the back that are edged with blue velvet buttons, two front pockets, and long sleeves. The jacket lining is white silk with large pink circles. The ankle-length skirt is beautifully cut with a hip yoke and two gores in back, and a T-shaped piece in front. The skirt has an invisible waistband, side hook, and left closure. The suit has a Henri Bendel, N.Y. label.

- This bright blue silk women's dress has all over machine made chain stitch embroidery. It has green and white leaves as well as two triangles in the design in front. The dress has a square neck, long sleeves and is lined with blue chiffon. Label: "Mae & Hattie Green, PARIS, NEW YORK, 16 East 52nd Street."

- Women's knee-length, knubby textured brown and black wool coat. The double breasted coat has a narrow collar, and a lapel of black wool. It is fitted over the chest, and flares out at the hips. The flare is increased by padding on the hips The sleeves stop a little short of the wrists. Graduated size buttons. The coat was purchased by the donor in 1955 or 1956 at Julie's Inc. for $350.00. Label: "William Popper, From a Design by Charles James."
