- Description:
- Woman's gray-green gabardine suit having a long-sleeve collarless jacket with padded shoulders, and an inset yoke with diagonal button down tabs on either side. It has set-in front pockets with matching diagonal button-down flaps. The jacet ends past the hips and is lined with pale purple crepe. The straight skirt has a 1 3/8" waistband with a side zipper and hooks. The waistband measures approximately 26." Labels: Adrian in British Samek Material, and The J.L. Hudson Co., Detroit.

- Woman's two piece silk suit in a rose and light beige stripe fabric. The jacket has a wide collar banded in rose, patch pockets, and long sleeves with cuffs. It snaps at the waist, and has a tie belt attached at the back waist and sides. The skirt is pleated at the waist, and has a back snap opening. Part of donor's wedding trousseau. She was married on April 10, 1917. Due to WWI, German dyes were not available, and stripes such as this were substituted.

- Women's knee-length, knubby textured brown and black wool coat. The double breasted coat has a narrow collar, and a lapel of black wool. It is fitted over the chest, and flares out at the hips. The flare is increased by padding on the hips The sleeves stop a little short of the wrists. Graduated size buttons. The coat was purchased by the donor in 1955 or 1956 at Julie's Inc. for $350.00. - Woman's two piece beige shantung suit. The collarless cropped jacket has padded shoulders. Its long straight sleeves continue across the shoulders and bodice in a triangular shape. The jacket has insets of brown and gold raw silk at the chest, top of the front closing, and on the sleeves. The unlined, gored, A-line shirt has a high 3" wide waistband with a hook and eye closure. Side zipper. Raw silk brown and gold insets at the center front of the skirt, with two multi-color tabs at the waistband. Label: Adrian Original.

- Long dress with long sleeves. Light blue in color with lace inserts and black ribbon trim. Lace is on lower third of sleeve with light blue fabric fringed cuff, with lace ruffle and buttons. The same features are found around hem and decorative straps on the top. Lace insert with high neck on bodice of dress, plated skirt at hem. Circa 1900-1909.

- Womn's three piece, creamy white wool knit tennis dress. The hip length jacket (a) has a small collar, and long, straight sleeves that botton closed at the cuff. It has two side pockets, and a single button closing below the bust for freedom of movement. The mid calf skirt (b) has pleats at its sides, and a hook and eye side closing. The V-neck dickey (c) is sideless, and sleeveless. It is a slip-on garment with elastic ties at its sides. Worn by donor's mother, Marion Scherer Livingstone.

- Two piece long sleeve dress, navy blue in color. Tan chiffon around V-neck with fabric ruffles at bottom V on front and small fabric covered buttons in center; the sleeve cuffs have the same details. Gentle pleats at shoulders, as well as a heavily pleated skirt. Panel of pleats in center front of skirt approximately 5-6 inches higher. Empire waist, straight underskirt of navy blue, invisible pockets. Second piece of set is a navy blue knit shawl with pleated look around hem and front panels, and long, wide ties in front. Circa 1920-1929.

- Description:
- This long sleeved woman's dress of black wool wool has a "V" shaped front insert of black Persian lamb at the neckline as well as a similar insert in back from neck to hemline. There are two square gold buttons 1 1/4" at shoulder on left side. The dress has a waist line with a fold of material down left side and pleats hooked by ribbon on inside. The left side fastening has seven eyes and one hook. The belt has two gold buttons, and a leather lining. The matching black Persian lamb, short cape has a small pointed collar. The cape has a black tassel near its collar to hook the cape. A fold of V-shape material is along the back. The back length is 30.5". There is a label on the inside of the collar that reads: Julie, Inc. Fisher Building, Detroit.

- Woman's fine wale cotton corduroy jacket/poncho having a black with white figural print of flute players and animals. The jacket is lined with quilted black nylon, and has a knit neckband. Circle of fabric with hole for head, roughly elbow length. Fabric has a Picasso signature. Label: "Picasso Copyright 1963, by White Stag" and "White Stag, White Stag Mft. Co., Portland Oregon."
