A sign posted on the side of the boat reads, "Eagle No. 59, World Record, Built in 10 Days." "26404-04-12-19," is printed in the lower right corner of the recto and "'Ten Day' ship on launching elevator ready to be lowered into water," is typewritten on a strip of paper affixed to the verso. An attached gangway is visible along the boat's port side near the bottom edge of the frame. The pattern boat was disassembled and taken to the Ford River Rouge Factory where each piece was used as template for manufacturing other Eagle Boats. A total of 60 Eagle Boats were built.
