- Color postcard depicting the Home Savings Bank on the corner Michigan Avenue and Griswold Street. Printed on verso: The Home Savings Bank Building - Corner of Michigan Avenue and Griswold street, was erected in 1893 and is eight stories high. The handsome offices of the bank occupy the entire lower floor, the rest of the building being devoted entirely to offices. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Dec 30, 1911.

This folio, Part Eight, has a gray/green paper cover that is printed in brown text. There are eight interior pages which include printed text and sepia-toned photographic images that are entitled as follows: The Thompson Home Y.M.C.A. - Sheet 1 of a set of three architectural drawings entitled "Wesson Ave. View of a Three Story, Eight Stores & Sixteen Apartment Building." The drawings consist of black ink and pencil on vellum paper and show a front elevation view of the proposed building as well as floor plans for each of the three floors. The proposed building was located at the northwest corner of Michigan Avenue and Wesson Avenue and shows the name, "Soldoris," over the apartment entrance doorway on Wesson Avenue. The plans were drawn at a scale of 1/8 inch = 1 foot by "J. Lawson Miller, Architect," and are dated 1922.

- Sepia-toned photo of the construction site where the Cadillac Hotel was demolished to make way for the Book-Cadillac Hotel taken from the southwest corner of Washington Boulevard and Michigan Avenue, facing northeast. The lot is surrounded by a wooden fence with a construction canopy over the sidewalk. A sign for the foundation-laying company Spencer, White, and Prentis is posted above the fence. The Detroit Commerce Building with signage on its roof for the People's Outfitting Company is visible to the east of the site along Michigan. A police officer stands in the center of the street in the foreground as a man in a boater hat crosses. An electric streetcar proceeds east on Michigan on the right side of frame. Shadow, presumably of fingers over the lens, partially obscure the Detroit Edison Company office, the Washington Boulevard Building and the Alexander Macomb Monument on the left side of frame.

- Colorized halftone print of a photograph depicting the west side of Campus Martius, as viewed from an elevated position, likely from the Pontchartrain Hotel. The primary copy has bolder colors and is mounted on beige cardstock. The secondary copy has lighter colors, and includes the title, "'The Heart of Detroit' - Reproduced from Photograph," as well as the notation, " Jos. Mack, Printer, Detroit." Both versions include captions below labeling the Post Office, City Hall, Pardridge and Blackwell in the Majestic Building, the Michigan Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument, Merrill Fountain, and the Opera House. A sign reading, "Welcome National Hay Association" is posted on the front of City Hall. The moonlight tower in front of City Hall on the corner of Woodward Avenue and Michigan Avenue is visible. Electric streetcars, horse-drawn carriages, and pedestrians are on the streets below. "1902-1903" handwritten on lower right corner of secondary copy, and "Fine Cigars and Tobacco, Confectionary, Soft Drinks, and School Supplies, Etc., 528 Dix Ave. Detroit, Mich." stamped on its verso.
