- One of the attractions at Waverly Park was a daily balloon ascension that sometimes featured an "aeronaut" jumping from it with a parachute. Donated by H. Standish.

- The mural was dedicated in October 1975. It is located at the corner of Turner Street and Grand River Avenue.

- Notes:
- Brick, prairie style, one story structure, with wraparound porch. The porch is covered by the main roofline, with a white snowflake design low railing, held in place between sections by brick posts. Steps set parallel to the porch lead up to it on one side. The main floor of the building itself is mostly windows in sets of 3, with windows in the corners of a different style. A park bench with six legs is placed on the grass between the photographer and the building.
