This scene represents one of the many bridges on Belle Isle. The main sport is canoeing and when Band Concerts are in progress during the summer month, hundreds of canoes can be seen on the different canals. Printed by C.T. American Art (A-2726). (circa 1920)

The ski jump was located on land at the northwest corner of Bloomer Road and John R Road. The original ski jump was built in 1926 by Henry Hall and was destroyed by a storm in 1934.
