- These Lounge Chairs, in the collection of Cranbrook Art Museum, are constructed of molded walnut plywood with veneer and has rubber mounts. On the bottom of the one seat (CAAM 1990. 76) is a metal label which reads: Charles Eames design/Herman Miller-Zeeland-Michigan. This product was first manufactured by Evans Products in 1945. Herman Miller became the distributor in 1946, and in 1949 the manufacturer.
