Babylonian cylinder seal

Notes:: A Babylonian Cylinder Seal, ca. 1700 BCE with Sumerian inscriptions. Excavated at Amlash, Mesopotamia, these seals were the signatures of the Babylonians. Each man's signature was different, and the images often depicted something about the owner. This includes the seal itself as well as the inscription relief on a portion of clay.
