Jerry Garcia, Vice President of Educational Programs at Sea Mar in Seattle, Washington delivers a talk entitled, "A bigger bite of the apple: social movements, immigrants, and labor in Washington State." Garcia discusses the history and consequences of farm labor movements in the state of Washington, focusing specifically on the United Farm Workers organization, and explains the role immigration has on the mobilization of current farm labor movements.
