A Group of Italian POWs in the Courtyard at Laibach

Notes:
Dejected and dirty Italian prisoners sit in the castle prison courtyard at Laibach. An Austrian non-commissioned officer stands to the right near the doorway of the castle. The photograph caption describes the Italians as "basking in the sun," but it is clear that they have a lot of time on their hands and little to do in Austrian captivity.
