A fountain is in the foreground and many cars are on Adams Street. Printed on verso: View of Grand Circus Park, showing Pingree and Maybury Monuments, Central M. E. Church and Y.M.C.A. building. This park is the oldest of Detroit's recreation grounds and is situated in the heart of the city through which runs the famous Woodward avenue. This park was set aside by the city 1854 and is enjoyed by thousands in summer on account of its magnificent shade trees. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Jul 24, 1919.
