East side of 100 and 200 blocks seen from Washtenaw Street. Panoramic shot covering several blocks. Unfortunately, not as sharply focused as most images in the collection. Playing at the Michigan Theatre is "The Blue Angel", released in 1959. City Planning Division staff annotated the photo.
