1948 Tucker "Torpedo"

1948 photograph of the front grill of Preston Tucker's Tucker "Torpedo" in front of the Chicago plant that produced approximately 50 automobiles between 1947 and 1947 when Tucker was tried (and acquitted) of SEC violations, during which he lost the plant an the business folded. This car sports a 1948 Illinois license plate.
