Notes:

Business man getting on a streetcar picking up a copy of the Grand Rapids Herald newspaper from a bag behind the driver. The streetcar was run by the Grand Rapids Railway Company and built by Light Weight Noiseless Electric Streetcar Company, St. Paul, MN - "The last word in comfort - speed." Part of the driver's name appears on the right, "E. Carpen" [for "Edwin Carpenter, car operator" (Polk City Directory, 1927)].
