Long, banquet-style tables with intricate decorations are flanked by solid wooden chairs with leather seats. Above, on the high ceilings, are elaborate carvings in Chinese style, and Chinese lanterns are suspended from the ceiling. The floor is checkerboard tile. Overall impression is of heavy dark wood. c1929
