Looking west on Monroe from the corner of Market. Along the left side of the image is S.S. Kresge Co., Charles Trankla & Co., Dr. Milo Rathbun, dentist, W. T. Grant Co. store, and Home State Bank. On the right side of the image is Houseman and Jones. There are many parked cars at the side of the street, including Deeb’s Tailor’s van, and streetcar tracks in the brick pavement. The Pantlind Hotel is at the end of the block.
