Secretary DeVos on Education Department priorities

Description:
Education Secretary Elisabeth DeVos testifies before the House Education and the Workforce Committee on the agency's priorities. DeVos is asked about a wide range of topics including, school choice programs, charter schools, voucher programs, fraud allegations against for-profit colleges, discrimination in schools, and school shootings. DeVos says she hopes that the school safety commission, which she chairs, will release a list of best practices the end of 2018. The Committee is chaired by U.S. Congresswoman Virginia Foxx (R-NC).
