Located at 114 North Grand Avenue. Text on postcard reads: "Hotel Kerns Tragedy Lansing Mich. Dec. 10th, 1934. Several lost their lives by jumping into Grand River." The date on the photograph is incorrect; the fire began at about 5:30am on December 11, 1934. Gift of the family of C.R. Stebbins.
