- An interdisciplinary panel composed of Michigan State University faculty participates in a discussion entitled, "Brave new workplace : the next careers?" Panelists describe their research about the evolution of employment and careers and the type of work available now and in the future. Panelists are: Kenneth Szymusiak, director of the Burgess Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovations in the Eli Broad College of Business Angela Hall, assistant professor in the School of Human Resources and Labor Relations, Cheryl Sisk, professor of Neuroscience in the College of Naturals Science, Karl Gude director of the Media Sandbox in the College of Communications Arts and Science, and Kenneth Merz, professor of chemistry and director of the Institute for Cyber-Enabled Research. MSU Professor John P. Beck convenes the session and moderates questions from the audience. Part of the series "Sharper Focus/Wider Lens" sponsored by the MSU Honors College.
