- Monochromatic glass plate negative taken of either the Chicago, Duluth and Georgian Bay Transit Company passenger steamers NORTH AMERICAN or SOUTH AMERICAN, a trio of tug boats, and a freighter outfitted with self-unloading equipment passing each other, as viewed from a long distance in the vacinity of Algonac. A tree lined shoreline is visible in the background. "Algonac 9-3-16," was handwritten on the envelope which previously held the negative.
