- Color postcard depicting Central High School from the corner of W Hancock Street and Cass Avenue. Printed on verso: The Central High School, situated on Cass Ave., is the leading public school of Detroit. The building and grounds occupy a complete block and the site cost the board of Education $130,350. The addition show on the left was completed in 1908 at a cost of $250,000. The buildings represent an investment of three quarters of a million. Handwritten message on verso, dated Jul 9, 1910.

Printed on verso: Bridge, Belle Isle, Detroit, Mich. This Scene represents one of the many pretty bridges on Belle Isle. The main sport is canoeing and when Band Concerts are in progress during the summer months, hundreds of canoes can be seen on the different canals. - Postcard printed with a portrait of George Washington surrounded by a wreath with the caption, "Washington, The Father of His Country. The card is postmarked February 1914, from Detroit, Michigan, and a handwritten message addressed to Captain C.G. Hampton of 384 Detroit Post, Wayne County Bank Building, West Larned Street, is on the verso, "Many happy returns of the day. Ed."

- Color postcard depicting the large Garland Stove with the Michigan Stove Co. in the background. The stove reads "Garland Stoves and Ranges, The World's Best". Printed on verso: The Largest Stove in the World, Michigan Stove Co., Detroit, Mich. This Garland Stove is the largest in the world and is located on the grounds of the Michigan Stove Company. Directly underneath this for years stood the stump of a tree that marked the place where Chief Pontiac met his death in one of the bloodiest battles ever fought in this section of the country. Handwritten message on verso, postmarked Aug 9, 1917. [This was the location of "Pontiac's Tree," for years a Detroit landmark - in reality, Pontiac was killed in what is now Illinois. JLS]
